Student Services

Books and Supplies

Spa Luna provides schoolbooks for all courses. Spa Luna provides school supplies for the Esthetician courses. Massage students are required to supply their own massage oils and creams. The oils and creams are available for purchase through the school. Additional supplies for use outside of class are also available for purchase. To order additional supplies check with the reception desk.

Counseling

Time may be scheduled, most afternoons, with staff members for counseling and assistance. This service is provided at no additional cost to students.

Job Placement Assistance

The school provides limited employment counseling service, although we are prohibited from guaranteeing employment.

We keep a file of available positions sent to the school from around the world. The counseling service and job file is available to any graduate of the school at any time in their career. Spa Luna is proud to provide all graduates with letters of recommendation for employment provided they have successfully completed the following requirements:

  • Completion of the Spa Luna program.
  • Passing the State Certification Exams.
  • Compliance with the Spa Luna Code of Ethics.

Complaint Procedures

Should a student develop a complaint concerning a Spa Luna program, they will have the opportunity to express that complaint to those involved. Students are encouraged to resolve their grievances on an individual basis, when possible. In addition, a variety of options are available for problem resolution:

  • The student may speak individually with the student(s) or staff member(s) involved.
  • The student may seek counsel with an advisory staff member. This counseling is available at no cost to the student.
  • Should the student and counselor deem it necessary to meet with the affected parties, there may be a third party observer present to assist in facilitating the discussion and clarifying issues.
  • The student may choose to meet with the Director, should all available options, fail to provide a resolution.
  • If the complainant is not satisfied with the decision, they may forward a copy of the complaint to any of the regulatory agencies:
