About Spa Luna

Mission Statement

Our mission in esthetics and massage therapy is to ensure, for all our students, an excellent education, concentrating on their spiritual, moral and intellectual development; while also providing the qualities of professionalism, integrity and competence in a safe and supportive environment, so our graduates will succeed and contribute responsibly in the professional field of estheticians and/or massage therapy.

Educational Objectives

There are many ways in which learning and growth take place. We focus on three areas: development of knowledge and skills, professional preparation, and personal growth. Our intention is:

To provide students with safe and supervised learning experiences that promotes the health and well-being of themselves and their clients.
To provide a thorough working knowledge of the structure and function of the human body, and the theory and practice of esthetics and therapeutic massage.
To prepare students to become qualified estheticians and massage therapists.

Class Size

We accept up to 25 students for each class. Class groups are kept small to provide individualized attention and a quality education .

Instructors

Spa Luna sets high standards for their instructors. All of the instructors satisfy the Hawaii state requirements and have extensive experience.

Location and Facilities

Spa Luna is located in Haiku, Hawaii. The school is located in the Haiku Marketplace. The Marketplace has most of the necessary services, including grocery store, drugstore, post office, laundry, video store, bakery, cafes, restaurants, a gym and doctor's offices. The school occupies over 5,000 square feet of space. It has lecture rooms, exercise areas, treatment rooms, meeting rooms, offices, sauna, shower and eating area.
