The massage course consists of 750 clock hours, which includes a minimum of 360 clock hours of technical instruction (lecture, demonstration, classroom participation, and/or examination).

Classes are Saturday, Sunday and Monday (9:00a.m. to 5:00p.m.) and Thursday (5:30p.m. to 9:30p.m.). After completing this program you will be able to work for yourself or take advantage of Massage opportunities around the world. A career as a Massage Therapist can be rewarding and fulfilling.

Spa Luna offers the most hours and skills for less than any of the other massage programs.

Due to the program’s focus on Athletic Movements Spa Luna will invite various groups such as weight trainers and yoga enthusiasts to work on and learn what are the most common injuries in their routines and how to prevent them.

Spa Luna will introduce a variety of modalities that will include a foundation in sports, movement stretching and rehabilitation.

Today’s world presents the ability to live active and extended lives. Spa Luna’s program is geared to balance and maintain a healthy lifestyle. A consistent program of exercise and sports supports that.

Spa Luna’s Massage School provides our graduates with a solid knowledge base in Massage Techniques, Anatomy, Physiology, Kinesiology, as well as Clinical Pathology and Professional Standards and Ethics. These skills provide an excellent foundation for any specialty or modality of bodywork you may choose to pursue.

Our program offers a strong academic foundation, and assists in developing intuitive skills based on Holistic (Mind, Body, and Spirit) Assessments. In this course you will master these modalities: European (Swedish and General Techniques), Non-Western (Shiatsu and Oriental Theory and Assessment), and Western (Sports Massage / Connective Tissue and Musculoskeletal Assessments and Treatment Strategies).

You will also be schooled on Lomilomi (Hawaiian), Neuromuscular Therapy (NMT), Aromatherapy, Hydrotherapy, Integrative Massage, Business Practices, and Professional Standards and Ethics. We appreciate the variety of learning styles and we will support those choices selected by our students.

Spa Luna’s Massage Therapy Program prepares the students to pass the state, national and international massage therapy board exams. This is a state board certified program.
