Event Make-up
Liz Javelosa is a leader in the makeup
industry here on Maui. She’s a Spa Luna alumni and operates her business Maui Makeup Artistry.
Liz is from Laguna Beach, CA. She has gained her knowledge through salons and agencies. She has been MAC trained, is a former MAC cosmetics manager and has worked on editorial shoots such as Sports Illustrated Swim Suit Edition, Americas next Top Model and Wedding Expo’s in Hawaii.
Liz is happy to share her knowledge with Spa Luna students so makeup can be a contribution to their esthetics career and for themselves.
This is a two day workshop.
The Basic Beauty Essentials is an introduction of the basic techniques; color theory, tools, everyday look to bridal makeup. Students observe a live demo and afterwards participate in implementing basic makeup looks on a partner.
Each student receives a booklet of notes and a face chart with step by step instructions on how to achieve basic makeup looks.
- Bring your own make-up and a standup mirror.
- Workshop price: $80 and$130 non-students for each day.
- Day 1, 3:00p.m. to 7:00p.m.
